Friendship
The virtue of friendship lies on trust.
What is friendship and why do we need it? Simple answer lies. We are social animal thus need good social connections. Human beings instinctively want to be with other human beings. And we wish for good relations between other human beings.
Friends are the one who you can seek anytime and expect to spend good time with. Of course nothing works like the pure form of definition. In order to win friendship, you may have to sacrifice short-term efficiency and time. Who would you rather spend time with? Simple answer. The one who will fullfill your goal at that temporal location most.
Due to the dynamic nature of the situation surrounding us, true friendship becomes harder to accomplish. Meanwhile true friendship keeps emotional and psychological health healthy. Human beings communicate in both high and low level, or intellectual and emotional level. There exist social institutions that encourages quality high (intellectual) level communication: such as an educational institution. There also exist social institutions that encourages quality low-level, or emotional level communication such as a family. However the role and strength of families have been declining ever since the modern ara.
In this sociological circumstance we are standing, the importance of friendship is every higher. There are factors threating establishing or already established friendship. Since our society is greatly concerned about security issues, we develop certain levels of defence against other human beings. Which concludes a fact as follows "Friendship often comes with price that are higher than what we are willing to pay".
So what are the alternative to the friendship? The folllowing discussion will continue.
